Raimondi is a designer serving the Bay Area. The overlap across her interests in architecture, art and responsible, informed design create a delicious blend of cross pollination in her design practice. She enjoys the juggle between conceptual and the practical aspects of design. From developing a concept, form and language and then transforming an idea into a reality. Her experience in art installations inspires her interest in tectonics, material science and intuitive making. To see what the hand and process creates without the need to condense and justify a specific logic, structure and language – that which governs the design side of her work. The blend creates a palpable yet subconscious dialog in all facets of her work. Furthermore, her heavy interest and experience with craft and making informs her ability to translate ideas to fabrication and construction in the built environment.
